Visa Indonesia is a fully licensed visa agency, not affiliated with the Indonesian government. Learn more

The official government website to apply for e-visas for Indonesia is evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

However, many travelers prefer to use visa-indonesia.com due to easier and faster processing, support seven days a week, the possibility of a refund and more.

Visa Indonesia is the most reviewed and fully licensed visa agency with offices in Bali, authorised to assist with visa applications and extensions for Indonesia.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to get Indonesian visas for our employees or clients?

It depends on the visa type:

  • e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA): usually issued within 1–3 days.
  • Single-entry visas (C1, C2, C11) and multiple-entry visas (D1, D2): 7–10 working days.
  • Express: 5 working days for selected visa types, on request.

For urgent cases, message us and we’ll check what’s possible.

Which Indonesia visa do our employees, partners or guests need?

That depends on how long they stay and why they come:

  • Short trips of up to 30 days (tourism or business meetings): e-VOA. If plans change, it can be extended once by another 30 days in Indonesia.
  • Stays of more than 30 days (up to 180 days): C1 (tourism) or C2 (business). You get 60 days straight away on entry, with no extension needed for the first two months, and the visa can be extended twice by 60 days.
  • Trade fairs and exhibitions: C11 exhibition visa for exhibitors, booth staff, speakers and sponsors. An e-VOA or tourist visa doesn’t cover these activities.
  • Frequent trips: D1 (tourism) or D2 (business). Valid for 1, 2 or 5 years, with up to 60 days per entry (extendable to 180 days).
  • Working in Indonesia: a work permit (working KITAS) is required. Visitor visas don’t allow employment.

Not sure? Message us and we’ll recommend the right visa for each person.

How much does an Indonesia visa cost for business clients?

Partners get B2B pricing based on their expected volume. Request it with the form above. All our prices include the government immigration fee and payment fees, with no hidden costs.

How can I apply for an Indonesia visa online?

You can apply in one of two ways:

  • On your own at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. You get no support, and errors can delay or invalidate the application.
  • Through visa-indonesia.com. Our team checks the documents, submits the application and supports you until the visa is issued.
Can I get a visa on arrival at the airport in Indonesia?

Yes, but only at designated international airports, seaports and land borders, not everywhere. You need a passport from an eligible country that is valid for at least 6 months with one blank page. We recommend getting the e-VOA before you travel: with it you can use the autogates and skip the queue at the visa counter. Holders of a temporary passport should always apply in advance, because airlines may refuse boarding.

Which countries can enter Indonesia visa-free?

Citizens of 19 countries can enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days:

  • ASEAN: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam
  • Other countries: Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong (SAR), Kazakhstan, Macau (SAR), Peru, Suriname, Türkiye

The visa-free stay is for tourism and similar visits only. It can’t be extended or converted into another visa in Indonesia. If your staff or guests need more than 30 days, or are coming for a trade fair or business activity, they should apply for the right visa in advance.

What travel documents do I need for Indonesia?
  • Passport: valid for at least 6 months after arrival, with at least one blank page.
  • Visa: an e-VOA, a visa obtained in advance (e.g. C1, C2, C11, D1, D2), or visa-free entry if your nationality qualifies.
  • Return or onward ticket.
  • Arrival card: fill in the digital arrival card before you arrive.
Can you handle visas for a whole team or a trade fair delegation?

Yes. Send us the list of travellers and we’ll handle every application, from e-VOAs for short business trips to C11 exhibition visas for your booth staff and C2/D2 business visas. You get one point of contact and regular status updates. For business visas we can act as the required Indonesian sponsor. Plan C11 applications at least 2–3 weeks before the event.
