Bridging Visa Indonesia

If your visa application is rejected due to a mistake on our side, we will either re-submit the application at our own expense or provide a refund if you prefer. If the rejection occurs because you are blacklisted due to previous violations of Indonesian laws, we are unfortunately unable to provide a refund. So far, we have not experienced any blacklist cases, and applications are typically approved as long as all requirements are met.

Visa RefundYou will receive a full refund if you cancel your order before we upload your data to the immigration system. However, once your application has been uploaded to immigration, a refund is no longer possible. Immigration does not refund visa fees once an application has been processed or issued, and therefore, we are unable to refund in this case. ExtensionIf you already purchased extensions and they remain unused (because you leave Indonesia earlier), we can refund the extension fee as long as you notify us early enough (before the extension process has started). If we already started the extension process, no refund is possible anymore.

Yes. For your visa application, the passport photo / profile photo must meet the following requirements: The background must be white (or very light). The photo should be clear and well-lit. Please wear a shirt or top (no bare shoulders). Do not stand too far away or too close to the camera. Your face must be fully visible and looking straight at the camera. You can also take the photo as a selfie with your smartphone: Just stand in front of a light-colored background and look straight into the camera.

Yes. If you don’t have all the required documents ready when you apply, that’s no problem. You can simply send the missing documents later via WhatsApp or email. After placing your order, you will receive our contact details by email (please also check your spam folder). Please note: We can only process and submit your visa application once we have received all the required documents and your payment. Submitting everything as early as possible helps prevent delays.

Once your visa is approved, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia. This means you should not apply earlier than 90 days before your arrival date. Example: If you plan to visit Bali in mid-April, you should not apply before mid- or late January. Please also consider the processing time for your visa type so we can issue your visa on time. If you are unsure about the best moment to apply, feel free to contact us. Depending on availability, we can also process some visa types faster.

If you apply for a Bridging Visa, our company becomes your sponsor/guarantor for that visa. Example: You previously entered Indonesia with a self-sponsored e-Visa on Arrival. Once you switch to a Bridging Visa, your guarantor changes to our company. Your sponsor may change again depending on the next visa you obtain: For a Spouse Visa, the Indonesian spouse becomes the guarantor. For a Work Visa, your employing company becomes the new guarantor. For an Investor KITAS, the PMA company in which you hold shares becomes your guarantor. The Bridging Visa sponsor applies only for the duration of the Bridging Visa.

If you overstay your visa in Indonesia, you must pay an overstay fine of 1,000,000 IDR per day per person (around 65 USD). The payment must be made in cash at the airport or Immigration office when you leave the country. You should plan an additional 20–30 minutes at the airport for the overstay procedure. Important notesShort overstays (a few days) are usually handled quickly and result only in the standard fine. Very long overstays may lead to additional questioning, delays, further administrative actions or deportation. Paying the fine does not ban you from returning, as long as there are no other violations. The best option is always to extend your visa before it expires to avoid unnecessary fees and delays.

No vaccinations are required to apply for a visa or to enter Indonesia. COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required since July 3rd, 2023. However, some optional travel vaccinations are commonly recommended by international travel health authorities, depending on your itinerary, length of stay, and travel style. Replacement or Temporary Travel DocumentsIf you enter Indonesia with a replacement travel document, you must have: 12 months passport validity, and a valid residence permit at the time of entry.
